Newspaper Service Directory Ad COMMENTS: I am currently running two ads in the Service Directory of my local newspaper (MaryvilleCityGuide.com and NodawayCountyAuction.com). You'll see that I took two boxes for each ad. I did this so my ad would really stand out. I had previously been running small 2 and 3 line classifieds until I realized that I could run an ad in the Service Directory much cheaper. I'm now paying more than $20.00 a month less and getting a whole lot more space. Plus I'm still running on the classifieds page where I wanted to be. At this point it has only run one day but I've already noticed a upward spike in my stats so I guess it's working. Most papers have some sort of business directory like this. Please forgive the poor copy but the service directory was too large for me to scan in on one page so I had to cut the heading and the ads apart and scan separately. But you get the idea.
